It didn’t take long for Pierre Brooks to fall in love with Michigan State following his virtual visit with the coaching staff as he committed on Wednesday afternoon.
The four-star shooting guard from Detroit was a Spartan lean to begin with but he decided to speed up his recruiting process and make it official, becoming the first player to commit to Michigan State’s 2021 class.
Brooks picked Michigan State over the likes of Xavier and Michigan.
Some might look at his ranking after watching his highlight reel and wonder how he’s the No. 96 prospect in the nation, and that’s a fair question.
