Michigan State basketball is logging off Twitter. Here's why

The Michigan State Spartans basketball team has two goals this season that we know of.

One is, of course, winning a second national championship for longtime MSU coach Tom Izzo.

The second goal is far more formidable: Logging off Twitter, the popular social media app, for the 2019-20 season.

“We had a team meeting,” junior forward Xavier Tillman said, according to the Chicago Tribune.
