Michigan State basketball hosts Duke in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

EAST LANSING — Michigan State basketball fans are finally getting a home game they have been craving for 16 years.

Duke is coming to Breslin Center as part of Tom Izzo’s 25th anniversary schedule.

The Spartans will host the Blue Devils on Dec. 3 as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, just the second time Duke has visited MSU in what will be their 16th all-time meeting.

The Blue Devils won that game on Dec. 3, 2003, at Breslin, 72-50, and own a 12-3 edge all-time against the Spartans, including an 11-2 advantage for Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski over Tom Izzo.
