Michigan State basketball has room to grow - literally: What return players must do

GREENVILLE, S.C. — A little more than five minutes stood between Michigan State basketball and the Sweet 16.

And a Duke roster full of potential NBA draft picks, led by the winningest coach in college basketball history.

When Marcus Bingham Jr. hit two free throws with 5:10 to play at Bon Secours Wellness Arena, the Spartans built a five-point lead to equal their biggest of Sunday’s second-round NCAA tournament game.
