GAME NOTES
* Tuesday's game is Michigan State's only public exhibition game of the 2018-19 preseason. In lieu of its normal second exhibition game, the Spartans played a closed scrimmage on Saturday against Gonzaga.
* Spartans forward Kenny Goins left Saturday's exhibition early after being hit in the mouth, but Spartans coach Tom Izzo said on Monday that he still plans to start Goins in Tuesday's game.
