Four-star point guard Jaden Akins made it official on Thursday, committing to Michigan State basketball and capping off a dream class.
It’s been almost a perfect summer in the recruiting landscape for Tom Izzo and Michigan State as it was kicked off in late-spring by Pierre Brooks and capped off by Jaden Akins on Thursday.
This epic recruiting run was probably fueled by a commitment from No. 1 player in the nation Emoni Bates which was completely unexpected. He went on Sportscenter to announce his committed to MSU, shocking everyone who assumed he wouldn’t even think about playing college basketball.
