On Wednesday afternoon, Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal revealed a conversation that he had with Tom Izzo about Josh Langford’s potential return.
The senior guard had a conversation with the Hall of Fame head coach and expressed the interest in returning to Michigan State for one final season and utilizing his redshirt on the 2019-20 campaign in which he spent the year on the end of the bench with an injury that resurfaced.
This sent shockwaves through the fanbase as everyone began to realize the real reason Izzo didn’t go after grad transfers as much as he could have was because he had a feeling that Langford would be back and a spot would need to be open for him.
