OMAHA, Neb. — Will Walsh tossed a complete-game four-hitter to lead fourth-seeded Nebraska into the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament with a 4-0 victory over Michigan State baseball on Friday night.
The Cornhuskers (33-22) will play top-seeded Maryland at 2 p.m. Saturday for a berth in the championship game. A Maryland win would send the Terrapins to Sunday's championship game. A Nebraska win would force a 10 p.m. rematch between the Terps and the 'Huskers for a title-game berth on Sunday. Michigan State's 33 wins are the most for the program since winning 36 in 2016.
