About 2.5 years ago, Michigan State's campus was shocked by an unspeakable tragedy.
The campus was rocked by a campus shooting that took the lives of three students. The cold February air was a little heavier in February of 2023 because the campus just wasn't the same as a man not connected to the school walked down the streets of campus, into The Union, and into some classrooms and committed a senseless crime.
Following the tragedy, other schools around the nation became Spartans as they showed their support for Michigan State. Even Michigan fans put on "Spartan Strong" shirts in the wake of the tragedy.
