The Michigan State Spartans take on the Seton Hall Pirates on the hardwood tonight as part of the Gavitt Games. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. EST at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
MSU enters the game with a 1-1 record, after falling to the Kentucky Wildcats in the opener and rebounding with a blowout win over Binghamton. Seton Hall is 2-0, with defeats over Wagner and Stony Brook.
The big question for Seton Hall is whether or not preseason All-American guard Myles Powell will play. He is listed as a “game-time” decision with an ankle injury, but more than likely won’t suit up or will be severely limited.
