The Michigan State Spartans Men’s Basketball team is down in Durham, North Carolina tonight to take on the Duke Blue Devils in the annual Champions Classic. That’s right folks, an empty Cameron Indoor Stadium awaits the Spartans as the Cameron Crazies are locked out of this one.
Duke has always been a kryptonite for longtime MSU head coach Tom Izzo, who is 2-12 all-time against Coach K. Tonight offers another opportunity to hopefully eat into the lead the Blue Devils hold over MSU and Izzo. Their 22 turnovers in their season opener would certainly help if repeated tonight.
