The unofficial preseason Big Ten Media Poll was released today. The poll is conducted by The Athletic and The Columbus Dispatch, and polls 28 writers from around the conference, two per team. The Michigan State Spartans were selected to finish No. 4 in the Big Ten.
The Illinois Fighting Illini were the favorite, followed by Iowa and Wisconsin. No Spartans earned First-Team honors, either, but Aaron Henry, Joey Hauser, Joshua Langford, and Rocket Watts all received votes.
