Mel Tucker greets Michigan State fans, promises to 'get it done'

EAST LANSING — It was a quick introduction, but new Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker walked out to a standing ovation Saturday night at Breslin Center during the Spartans' basketball game with Maryland.

Tucker, who was hired Wednesday to replace Mark Dantonio, took the microphone during the first media timeout and delivered promises to the fans and as they cheered.
