Matt Costello is rebounding king of NBA Las Vegas Summer League

LAS VEGAS - Matt Costello can rebound with the best of 'em.

In fact, in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, nobody did it better.

The former Bay City Western and Michigan State University standout pulled down 12.3 rebounds per game while playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the summertime showcase, tops among all players competing in the Las Vegas event.

The 6-foot-9, 245-pound Costello, who went undrafted out of MSU in 2016 and spent last season in the NBA Development League, also averaged 10.3 points during the five-game league and delivered some highlights that could only help his NBA stock.
