EAST LANSING - Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh took exception to a comment made by Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio and fired back on Twitter.
Following Michigan State's team banquet Sunday night at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, Dantonio was asked if he was surprised it turned into a social media frenzy.
"In this day and age, not surprising," Dantonio said.
Asked if the situation was a reaffirmation the Spartans are never going to go away, Dantonio said "Michigan State is never going to go away. They're always going to be here, regardless of who is coaching here, and it is what it is.
