Battle High School easily could have chosen not to take the high road.
In a disgusting and disparaging act, North County High School broadcasters on a livestream of the schools' varsity football game Friday night spewed damaging — and flat-out incorrect — comments.
The student-led broadcasting crew reacted to a Battle penalty by saying they weren’t surprised, describing the team as ”violent” and comprised of kids who were pulled from rough backgrounds and placed into the school.
I’m sure I can speak for many when I say this is not the case.
