Judge: Blackwell's 17-month case against MSU's Mark Dantonio, others should be tossed out

A judge in west Michigan is recommending a full dismissal in the lawsuit against Mark Dantonio and other former Michigan State officials, in the Curtis Blackwell case that has been going on since November 2018.

In her recommendation filed in federal court Friday night, U.S. magistrate judge Sally J. Berens said Blackwell's lawyers "repeatedly misused court process" for the purpose of harassing the defendants, including Dantonio, former MSU president Lou Anna K. Simon and former athletic director Mark Hollis.
