Josiah Scott leaving Michigan State early to pursue 'lifelong dream' of NFL

East Lansing – Michigan State will have another hole to fill on defense next season.

Junior cornerback Josiah Scott announced on Twitter Monday that he intends to forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft.

“It’s been mJosiah Scott to play in the National Football League,” Scott said in his post. “And even though I’m leaving, I will always be a Spartan. My experience as a Michigan State student-athlete has been incredible and I am forever grateful.”

This is the second straight season a Michigan State cornerback has left after his junior season.
