Believe it or not, Jonathan Smith and the Michigan State football program are still showing signs of life.
The Spartans have looked lifeless on the field for the past two months, failing to secure a single win since the first three weeks of the season. That’s right, it was still 70 and sunny outside the last time Michigan State was winning games, and that feels like an eternity ago. That’s unacceptable for a program like Michigan State which should have a heck of a lot more pride.
On Monday, Smith told the media that he’s “100 percent” confident that he can turn Michigan State around, and he believes in the guys that are in his locker room.
