One of the oldest commitment tricks in the book is the fake hat grab, and it almost always rubs opposing fans the wrong way when their school isn’t picked. Fortunately, Michigan State fans were on the winning end of a fake hat grab on Wednesday with Jasiah Jervis.
The four-star shooting guard narrowed his list down to four schools and each had a hat on the table for his streamed announcement.
As he was getting set to announce, he reached for the NC State hat on the table, looked at it, and said “nah” with a laugh.
