Jalen Terry — the 4-star point guard out of Flint Beecher High School who was previously committed to Michigan State — announced his college choice on Friday, selecting Oregon over Louisville and LSU.
And later that day, Terry discussed with a Flint TV station why he backed out of his verbal commitment to Tom Izzo's program, thanks in large part to the recruitment of a second point guard in the 2020 class.
The Flint Beecher senior had committed to MSU back on April 2, 2019, in the week leading up to the Spartans' Final Four game against Texas Tech.
