Jack Velling looking healthy at practice after dealing with injury issues

Last weekend, a report surfaced regarding an injury to a key Michigan State offensive weapon. Jack Velling, the Spartans' starting tight end, was reportedly hampered by a foot injury but was expecting to return "soon".

Bud Elliott reported this on his Cover 3 Podcast, but that was last weekend. Things have moved in a positive direction since, according to Dave Revsine.

It was reported earlier this week by Jonathan Smith that Velling had returned to practice after dealing with an injury. That was a huge update from the head coach, but it didn't mean much if he wasn't going through contact drills or going full speed at practice.
