This is the second installment of an occasional series of draft diaries from Michigan State defensive end Kenny Willekes. He had 49 tackles for loss and 23.5 sacks — including 10 in the 2019 season — in four seasons at Michigan State. This installment was written in collaboration with Free Press writer Dave Birkett.
