Before Edward Warinner crossed a bridge few even knew existed, he spent some time on the other side.
It was a fleeting episode that occurred at about 12:05 p.m. on Nov. 16 — just after the ball was placed on the tee at the start of Michigan’s 44-10 rout of Michigan State.
Racing down the field during the opening kickoff, the redshirt freshman linebacker with the Spartans logo on his helmet wrestled Giles Jackson out of bounds at Michigan’s 16-yard line, pushing him back into a sea of maize and blue.
