When it rains, it pours. Michigan State football is in the middle of a downpour right now, and it was made worse by the news of a decommitment on Monday.
The Spartans had 22 players committed in their 2026 class and it was ranked in the top 30 nationally, but it took quite a hit on Monday morning with the news of Tyren Wortham’s decommitment.
According to reports, the four-star receiver, and top-ranked Spartan commit in the class according to Rivals, decided to reopen his recruitment.
