The grandson of former University of Michigan head football coach Lloyd Carr and son of former U-M quarterback Jason Carr, Chad Carr, passed away early Monday morning.
5-year-old Carr, who was battling an inoperable brain tumor, was diagnosed 15 months ago to the day and had recently been placed in hospice care.
Chad’s parents posted the news on the “Pray for Chad Carr” Facebook page.
Supporters all across social media have been using the hashtag #ChadTough to raise awareness and show support for the Carr family.
