One game into the 2025 season, it looked like Aidan Chiles was going to have the same issues that he battled in 2024.
While his accuracy was there, he was making safe, short throws rather than taking shots against a Western Michigan team that wasn't exactly known for its defense. He was also facing a lot of unexpected pressure, and one of those pressures led to a fumble deep in Western's red zone on a missed block by Brandon Tullis.
One week in, Chiles agreed that he needed to be better, and even gave himself a modest grade.
