Game balls are headed from Ann Arbor to East Lansing for Michigan vs. MSU

ANN ARBOR, MI - Game balls are on their way to East Lansing for Saturday's clash between Michigan and Michigan State.

Cadets from both schools' ROTCs began a 64-mile run from Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor to the "Sparty" statue on MSU's campus in East Lansing to benefit Alex's Great State Race.

The game ball for each school is carried from one campus to the other by ROTC cadets from both schools.

Alex's Great State Race unites the two fanbases while raising money to help students with temporary and permanent disabilities realize their dreams of attending college at UM or MSU.
