Frankie Fidler transferred to Michigan State last offseason to try and boost his NBA draft stock while chasing a national title.
The former Omaha star was a highly sought-after transfer in the portal, and Michigan State was able to beat out Wisconsin for his services, but he never quite lived up to the hype. He had moments where he looked like the star he built himself into at Omaha over the three seasons prior, but consistency was an issue in East Lansing.
Fidler had the talent, but it took a minute for his confidence to catch up, and when that happened, he was a menace off the bench.
