Four-star forward Malik Hall commits to Michigan State

EAST LANSING -- We're only a few hours into November and Michigan State basketball already has its first win.

Malik Hall announced his verbal commitment to Michigan State on Thursday morning, picking the Spartans over other finalists Purdue and Oregon.

In Hall, the Spartans have landed a 6-foot-7, 190 pound forward who's rated a four-star recruit and the No. 52 player in the country in the class of 2019.

Hall, a native of Aurora, Illinois, has played for the past two years at Sunrise Christian in Kansas, the same school that produced former Spartans point guard Tum Tum Nairn.
