It was not a great start to National Signing Day for the Michigan State Spartans. Four-star defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny, out of the 2021 class, has flipped his commitment from Michigan State to Michigan and has signed with the Wolverines today.
This is a bit surprising and a big loss for the Spartans. While there were some concerns Benny may not end up signing with Michigan State when he didn’t sign during the early signing period, the general thoughts around him were that he had always planned to sign in February.
