EAST LANSING, Mich. – Four Spartans – right tackle Luke Campbell, placekicker Matt Coghlin, cornerback Josiah Scott and wide receiver Cody White – have been named to the BTN All-Freshman Team. In addition, right guard Kevin Jarvis earned honorable mention accolades.
Campbell, who started 11 games at right tackle, played more than 800 offensive snaps this season for the Spartans. The Lewis Center, Ohio, native also saw time at left tackle. He is the seventh-rated freshman tackle in the country, according to Pro Football Focus, and seventh overall tackle in the Big Ten.
