This offseason hasn’t been the best for former Michigan State Basketball players. Mateen Cleaves was accused of sexual assault, Branden Dawson was involved in a domestic dispute, but later cleared of charges, and now Keith Appling has reportedly been arrested.
If true, this would be awful news for the former Spartan who has been trying to make it in the NBA over the past couple of years. He stuck with the Orlando Magic this past season, playing in just five games and averaging 1.2 points per contest.
This tweet by Justin Rose is all we have at the moment, but innocence is hard to prove if he’s caught with a big gun like this as a Dearborn strip club.
