Former Michigan State strength and conditioning coach Todd Moyer has been found guilty of two felonies related to a traffic crash last year that killed two people.

A Monroe County jury found Moyer guilty of two counts of reckless driving causing death on Friday afternoon, according to The Monroe News.

Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. Moyer is scheduled to be sentenced on August 30.

The charges stem from a 2017 crash in which police say Moyer was texting when he rammed his 2007 Dodge Ram truck into a 2010 Hyunda Elantra, killing a 35-year-old mother and her 5-year-old daughter.
