Former Michigan State trio waives hearing in sexual assault case, heads to circuit court

EAST LANSING - The sexual assault case against three former Michigan State football players is now heading for an Ingham County circuit court.

Donnie Corley, Josh King and Demetric Vance all waived their scheduled preliminary hearings on Thursday morning in 54-B District Court in East Lansing, according to court records.

The preliminary hearing was to determine if there was enough evidence in the case to proceed to trial. By waiving that hearing, the trio have now been bound over to circuit court, where their cases will proceed beginning with an arraignment scheduled for Oct. 4.
