Former Michigan State TE Matt Sokol cut by Buffalo Bills

Former Michigan State players are making their last pitches to their current NFL preseason teams as they try to prove that they should make the 53-man roster at the end of camp.

Unfortunately, a few Spartans have already gotten some bad news.

We've seen Kenny Willekes cut by the Steelers right after they signed him from the UFL, Ameer Speed was let go by the Chicago Bears, and Montorie Foster Jr. was cut after suffering an injury with the Seattle Seahawks.

We can now add another Spartan to the list of cuts this week as former Mark Dantonio era tight end Matt Sokol didn't quite make the last round of cuts with the Buffalo Bills.
