A former Michigan State football player is in hot water this weekend after being arrested over the weekend.

Zion Young, a former Michigan State defensive end from the Mel Tucker era, was reportedly arrested on Saturday on suspicion of a DWI (driving while intoxicated) and speeding.

Young has reportedly been released and Missouri is aware of the arrest. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz said that he holds his student-athletes to the highest standard and they’re evaluating the situation and next steps. This can’t be good for his draft stock nor his status for Missouri’s upcoming matchup with Virginia in the Gator Bowl on Dec.
