Former Florida cornerback Chester Kimbrough transferring to Michigan State football

HEY NOW, how about that for a start to the weekend?

Michigan State football dove back into the transfer portal to reel up a nice talent from SEC country as the Spartans nabbed former Rivals four-star cornerback Chester Kimbrough. The former Florida Gator will come to MSU with three years of eligibility left after playing in nine games in Gainseville last season.

In 17 career games, Kimbrough recorded 15 total tackles and three passes defended.

Kimbrough is a crucial add to the Spartan program that has seen defensive backs Julian Barnett, Chris Jackson, Davion Williams leave the program for other schools this offseason, with Dominique Long also entering his name in the transfer portal.
