The opening night loss against a good Kentucky Wildcats team did not hinder Michigan State basketball fans’ confidence in the direction of the program (although, Kentucky somehow lost to Evansville last night), as it remains fully intact at 100 percent.

MSU followed up the defeat with a dominant win over Binghamton on Sunday, despite the tragic circumstances leading up to the game. The basketball team is going to be just fine moving forward, and even though there’s already a loss on the record, it’s not going to matter much in the grand scheme of things.
