Ex-Detroit Lions WR Charles Rogers leads 2021 Michigan State Athletics Hall of Fame class

Although he spent two years in a Michigan State uniform, Charles Rogers will forever have a place in the heart of Spartan fans forever. Rogers' place in history will now live in the halls of Michigan State's athletic department forever as well.

The wide receiver headlines to the 2021 Michigan State Athletics Hall of Fame class, announced on Monday. The formal induction for the 2021 MSU Athletics Hall of Fame will be Sept. 23 and they'll also be recognized at the Michigan State-Nebraska game on Sept. 25.

Joining Rogers in the 2021 class are seven other MSU greats across eight other sports: Franklin Gomez (wrestling); Anthony Hamm (cross country/track and field); Carol Hutchins (softball/women's basketball); Lynn Janson (men's golf); Elizabeth Moeggenberg (women's basketball); Floor Rijpma (field hockey); and Ron Scott (hockey).
