Michigan State football got something special in their Easter baskets on Sunday.
Eddie Pleasant III, a three-star cornerback out of Tampa, Florida, announced his commitment to the Spartans in a social media post.
In an additional post, Pleasant said his commitment was "a moment I dreamed about since I was a child."
Pleasant, a member of the class of 2023, ranks No. 61 at his position nationally and No. 105 overall in Florida, according to 247 Sports' composite rankings. The 6-foot, 175-pound corner had offers from additional Big Ten schools such as Penn State and Iowa.
