Football is almost here, but for some reason, Michigan State basketball seems to always steal headlines when we least expect it.
We can thank Coen Carr for that.
While Moneyball is in the rearview mirror and there's really nothing new to report on the hoops front until Grind Week and the first game prep practices of the season, the official X account of Michigan State basketball posted a video of some of the guys doing a vertical jump test, and people didn't notice something right away.
It looked like Trey Fort may have had an even higher vertical than Carr, but many didn't realize that the junior forward's vertec was placed on a foot-high platform to make it fair for the rest of the team.
