Bye week gives Michigan State additional time to address early-season errors

EAST LANSING - A September nonconference loss followed by the Big Ten opener.

That's the situation Michigan State faces for the second straight season.

"We have the same mentality coming off a nonconference loss," Michigan State redshirt junior quarterback Brian Lewerke said. "We want to come out and get a win and kind of get a good taste in our mouth for the rest of the season."
