QB Brian Lewerke's running
Lewerke was Michigan State's leading rusher until mid-October last year as he averaged 62 yards on the ground through the first five games. He hadn't truly taken advantage of his mobility this season until last week as (removing the one sack) he had seven carries for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
