Big Ten leaders may vote on football's return after COVID-19 testing options found: Report

Big Ten leaders this weekend are learning of new coronavirus testing programs that could hasten the return of the 2020 football season, according to a Friday report.

The conference's medical subcommittee — made up of athletic directors and doctors — on Saturday will present four or more rapid-response antigen tests that could "allow teams to test daily and significantly decrease the amount of necessary contact tracing," ESPN reporters wrote Friday.
