To say this season has been rough for Michigan State football coaches, players, and fans would probably be one of the biggest understatements of the past few years.
Michigan State has been experiencing a disaster almost every time it takes the field.
The Spartans began the season 3-0 with a huge overtime with over Boston College and, at the time, it felt like the program had turned the corner under Jonathan Smith. Since then, Boston College has regressed into one of the worst teams in the country and Michigan State has lost six straight games, including last week, controversially, at Minnesota in overtime.
