As Michigan State rumors swirl, Luke Fickell has yet to contact his top QB signee

With Cincinnati football coach Luke Fickell emerging as the front-runner for Michigan State’s vacant job, several Bearcat recruits are waiting to hear an update.

Wednesday morning at Wyoming High School, UC quarterback signee Evan Prater, who signed in December as a four-star prospect, was walking the halls sporting a Bearcat polo.

Prater, UC’s highest-rated recruit and the highest-rated quarterback to go to a non-Power Five school, hasn't yet heard from Fickell. He has heard from Michigan State supporters who are asking via social media if he would accompany Fickell if such a move was made.
