The Big Ten basketball tournament is canceled. Whether the novel coronavirus forces the same fate for NCAA tournament remains a mystery.
But if you ask Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren, the answer is rather simple:
"From an advice standpoint, whether it's the NCAA or any person in my seat, make sure you put the student-athletes at the center of your decision," Warren said Thursday in a news conference explaining the tournament's cancellation. "And if you do that, you'll make the right decision.
