If you were hoping to see Michigan State shoot out of a cannon on Saturday night, you were probably sorely let down when the score was 10-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Michigan State received the ball, and Aidan Chiles and the receivers just weren’t on the same page early on, but the second quarter started with a nice spark.
The Spartans got a huge chunk gain at the beginning of the quarter on a 39-yard run after they were essentially shut down in the first quarter. This was the biggest play of the game, and it was extended by about 15 yards thanks to a huge block by Chiles.
