Before Saturday’s Nebraska vs. Michigan State football game, the injury report showed that the Spartans would be down a number of starters, including two surprises on defense.
Just 16 minutes into the game, another name was added to the list of injuries.
Unfortunately, it was the most important name on the team: Aidan Chiles.
The junior quarterback was leading a long drive down the field into Nebraska territory and he even got the Spartans inside the 10. Then, dropping back to try and get the Spartans on the board, he was met by several rushing defenders and very little blocking, and they took him to the ground — hard.
